Rather than gathering pools of people are built on our three foundations:

Discipling people as they serve.

On the surface it looked like our Guest Services Team was succeeding.  We had the right things and we were doing the right things, yet something was missing. 

Whatever that “something” was, it contributed to a growing sense of indifference among our volunteers that resulted in many of them showing up late, not showing at all or even leaving this ministry altogether.  We were completing the task but missing the mission.  We needed help.”

We hired Mary Ann to coach us and it was absolutely the best decision we have made in this ministry.  Mary Ann took the time to get to know us and learn our systems and processes. 

While those changes certainly helped, the most beneficial aspect was the vision Mary Ann was able to communicate to our leaders and volunteers.  That “something” we were missing was the intangible motivational factor of vision and purpose.  Mary Ann has helped our leaders and volunteers value and own the ministry.  They are invested in this ministry which has resulted in a higher level of commitment and a “can do” attitude among our volunteers.
